Thank you. I hope I'm not in over my head - as much of what I read in forums seem a bit alien to me. Is there a lot of computer program language needed to know how to navigate through mapping software and in discussions within the guild? I just prinited the manual for CC3 and I'm planning on reading through that to answer some of my own questions before I blurt out that I need help. After all, "It's better to appear a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt!"

I'd say map out your world the old-fashioned way: with pencil and paper before you move on to mastering it with computer software. To me, computer-generated art is still art, but hand-drawn pieces will always catch my eye--and keep it.
Great advice. However, I'd have to say that my art skills are in need of help. I thought about creating the map and then projecting it onto canvas and then trace and paint.
