Hi all, loving the site.
My name is Darren, and I've started writing some stories in my spare time, one of which I have much bigger plans for. Started trying to map the whole thing out so as to plan some of the story, and work on some of the city styles to give more life and culture to my different races etc. I stumbled across this site after finding a few map generators, and I am in awe of the level of quality put into many of the maps here.

Whilst I don't particularly feed to need to make them as snazzy as the ones I have seen for my own purposes, I am expecting to be able to pick up quite a few great pointers in what I should and shouldn't include. I may even end up making a new hobby out of this.

welcome to the guild - the first map is free *lol* ... it is easy to get caught up in this hobby ... be sure to check out our tutorials - and when you're ready post your map in a WIP thread for help and critique while you work
