    I had actually planned on using just 3 colours, but as I put them in, I ended up using more. Shifting back to something more like my original plan, with fewer colours and more overlap does give pretty good results. It's both more subtle and yet feels a bit 'deeper'. So thanks for reminding me about that.

    OK, I've prepared an SVG file suitable for importing, and a transparent raster version.

    For fun, I've also prepared a map using the compass. It incorporates ideas from from my previous Bākoi and Portolan maps.

    Spiro-graph I can remember when they had these things called "Crayons". Very interesting compass by the way !!
