    But there is an example using it (compass rose is down there in the lower-left corner; the rest is a terrain with some chrome).

    There might be no excuse for this but now I don't feel bad anymore for putting my entry into Wilbur after I finished it...

    The landscape is TOTALLY different than the compass rose because the landscape slopes up from south to north, making the head of the landscape much pointier than the tail. That slope makes it totally different than the compass rose, it does.
