Currently I'm a bit undecided... which gamestone version to choose...

I like the black and white. If you could get a much brighter ("blood") red, the black and red might be better.

I like the Black and White one, it is clean and very neat looking. I agree with rdanhenry too thou, the black and red could look good too if it were a little more vibrant. It could look better I am not sure I would need to see it done to say. Very nice idea and work too.

I'm with that too. B/W looks the best.

B/W is good ... you avoid problems with color-blind people

It's done. Here are the pics on the final version.
New take named Workarikhash on shogi, the japanese chess.

The gameboard made out of white velour leather (both sides rough).
The gamestones made out of black plexiglas lasered and dremeled into shapes. (took hours and hours and hours of work to get them shaped. have to think of a faster way of doing that)
(Partly) Gamerules on parchment with black ink.
    Small Carryingbag out of jute.
Rules are the same as the japanese shogi.

    Workarikhash
An orcish game for learning war tactics especially for the fight against the Forsaken like Undead Flesh and the Black Ice who are able to integrate fallen settler and warriors into their own forces.
It was designed by the uruk Teroc, Touk-Lor of Sah'tubaah, a protectorate in the western parts of the Northern Seal of Mythodea.

    EDIT
Forgot to tell you what the inscribing on the gameboard means. The ones on the long side:
    1. Head out into the realms our creation and crush all unworthy.
    2. Head out into the realms our creation and watch the destruction of your descendants.

The ones on the short sides:
    1. Sharpen your senses.
    2. Be aware of your merit.

That looks great Droner, you have done a fantastic job on this. It would be very interesting to try and play the game. Good luck in this months contest .

Very cool! It looks like an interesting game. And nice tea-light holders too ...
