Hehe. I'm pretty sure (though not 100%) that the adjective Venereal is used in relation to the Goddess Venus, rather than the planet. Obviously the one is named for the other, but I can't find a decent reference to 'Venereal' in relation to the planet. If your research for this map has given you a better insight I'd be curious to hear it, since astronomy and the history of it is an interest of mine. I'd hate to be missing out
