    Map Hexographer/Photoshop Campaign Map

I've become a big fan of Hexographer. While I really like - and prefer - drawing out my maps or doing them straight in Photoshop, Hexographer has a couple of advantages:
    1. I can do a map in about 1/3rd the time it would take me to do a 'freeform' map
    2. I can more easily expand and update a map as my campaign progresses
    3. A hex map is more functional as I simply need to count out hexes to determine distances.

That said, I still import any Hexographer map I've created into Photoshop so that I can add text and features like rivers and roads. The text editing/design features in Hexographer are limited, as are the line drawing tools.

Below is my latest campaign map using Hexographer and Photoshop. The image in the map key was taken from a clip art collection (and copyrighted) by Kiss Márton Gyula (Kimagu) .

Please let me know what you think. Advice and criticism welcome!

As you've pointed out Esteban, there are some definite merits of a hex map, particularly if you using the "Hex-Crawl" mechanism for your campaign. That said, they aren't the most attractive looking maps, that's for sure. Still, yours is among the nicer looking hex maps I've seen.
