Yes
No
Just as the title says. I just saw the picture Rav posted here and the idea came to me. I think the picture pretty much explains what I mean....
I would think that additions, subtractions or distortions from the picture would be ok as long as the significant landmarks were identifiable.
PS, even though I THINK I added a poll, I do not see it in the preview, so how do I put in the responses....(yes I checked the box and have 2 options)
***edit*** Ahhhh I see, the poll edit window shows AFTER you post... DOH!!!

Yeh I like this, there is a wealth of awe inspiring locations in the world, so sketching these out would be very interesting.

Would this be a landscape pic (ie everyone using the same pic)
or would this be any landscape pic (everyone doing different pics)?
Wow, I thought I answered this one....must have forgotten to hit Post....
Anyhoot, back to topic at hand. I think this could go either way; a picture chosen by the CLs or by the artist, as long as the picture and map match on some key points of reference. How many points would be up to the CLs, or if a CL picture, which points. For example, if the linked picture was used, the CLs could say that the rock outcropping in the foreground, the one on the left and the two smaller ones in the middle could be points that are required on the map, maybe even including the stream passing through the whole thing.
