Default Portfolio - Encounter Styled Maps

So I've decided if I'm going to do any commissions I need to have a body of work to show and develop my brand. To that effect, I've started with encounter maps my strong suit and pump out a half dozen maps with my own refined style. First map, the Tomb, is a map I've already produced just spruced up and the second one a standard Inn/Tavern. Taking Nods from RedEpic on decor. Hope you guys enjoy this series as well as use them.

Oh wow, I really like your style. Especially in the tavern, the textures are simple, yet really effective. They look great!

I'm going to agree with the others, Excellent. I think your style is very good for publishing, Nice textures, good detail without being overly complex, and most important, very "playable".
    Hope to see more.
Once you get a few more maps together in this style you should post them in a facebook album at a new FB page that is bringing together artists and small publishers, the RPG Artists & Cartographers Showcase. It was created by Simon Powell aka "Digger" and is getting a lot of attention.

Here is the link to it: http://www.facebook.com/groups/RPGartists/

These look quite good indeed Geamon. I agree with Bogie's assessment, the the maps have are well-textured while remaining clear and playable. These are two great pieces for your portfolio.

Another rehash on an old map I made. Somehow during the process I lowered the memory foot print of GIMP from 2.5 GB to 1.5 GB.... Man I use to be terrible at layer management.

Edit: Woops forgot to turn on a layer.....

Good stuff geamon, great feel to your maps.
