Thanks. And that after several drafts where several people checked the map.

Yeah, it seemed a little small for a continent. Although without a scale, it could be whatever size.

waldronate pointed to the typo in the former version, not the size.
But good point. I will ask the client what they had imagined.

I's beautiful, Sapiento. But tell me that's not a river splitting around that NE forest! Or rather, tell me one leg of it is a canal, yeah, that must be it :-).

'Course the size of the symbols w/r/t the expanse of the land do point more toward fifty miles across than fifteen hundred... but for me the biggest thing making it seem small is the dearth of smaller settlements. If there were a scattering of little bitty village and hut symbols scattered about, my eye would let me believe at least hundreds of miles across. Hey, if another people on another planet want to call Ireland or Puerto Rico a continent I have no problem with that :-). Maybe the rest of their globe's landmasses are more like Guam or the Isle of Man!

Ops, well, it's not my own language so I guess I am excused.
As for the size, from the elements in the map and their placement, my first impression would be that this island is no bigger than Ireland, possibly smaller. So, quite far away from a continent.

Yes, that's a river splitting. But that was explicitly demanded by the client - it's part of the game world.
I'm already in contact with the client to nail down the size.

Nice. Great color palette. Thats always one of my pet peeves. I like the colors flowing into one another, same tone if you will. Well done. I will add that I thought Island as well, basically on the number of limited roads and towns.

I didn't receive a scale for this land, so I really can't say anything about the size, but probably the size of Australia.
