scottsz look in the FAQ's (button is located in header area) I think I recall seeing blog posting info there. I'm still nosing around the place myself tho :-) Check out the tutorial section and try the search feature

I just registered.
I have some questions and the site's a lot more overwhelming than I thought it would be.
Is there a dedicated URL or thread for basic questions like making a blog post, etc.? There are a lot more forums/threads here than I thought. Is there info perhaps at another location that I'm missing?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I did check out the FAQ - perhaps new members can't use the blogs?
I don't really use the blog much myself. I would check in the "How Do I?" threads but I'm not sure I recall ever seeing anything about it. I don't think it's being used a lot by anyone although it's a feature that is available.

Many thanks. I'll have to come back to this next year if I have more time.
I am not sure about that, but did you look at the top of the blog pages. I have a "Create New Post" button on the right side of the page. Do YOU see one there? If you do, click that and you should be on your way...I haven't gone that far yet, but I think that is the route to take. In a couple of posts you will be able to send PMs and if you still have problems starting a blog, try PMing jtougas and asking him how HE does it. Also try asking RobA or Arcana (the site administators) for clarification. Remember that they are often quite busy so they might not get back to you right away, but they WILL get back to you on this.
