That was the first thing I thought, too, but then I thought maybe it's an underground map? Caverns and tunnels make a lot more sense.

Neat color scheme; I like the gray & yellow more than I would have thought; and the watercolor effect is very pleasing! For some reason this map inspires me to play with creating a new map--thanks for that!

Yes the rivers are strange, a good map, but still the rivers weird me out a little, I just could not work with something so Geologically Impossible but still awesome map.
