Looks like a very small village for a miner's one but looks nice so far
Pinefort is a small miners' village, in the hills near the foot of a mountain (which is yet to be named). The owner of the mine is the mayor of the city, and since it's a town in a DnD setting there has to be an inn, even though the place don't see a lot of travellers.
The town has a wall to protect the town from the unfriendly hill creatures that roam the area. Because of the hill creatures there's always work for mercenaries.

Great start. Even if there aren't many travelers there are ALWAYS adventurers needing a place to rest. I look forward to seeing this progress.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I decided to make the village a bit larger, the mines need more workers!

really nice style of your map, i like the black& white feeling.
is it hand-drawn?
Hello,
@Chewiecide
Thanks, the style is heavily influenced by Larb, so much so that I feel like I'm plagiarizing (and poorly at that). It's drawn with a tablet, so I'm not sure if that counts as hand drawn.
I've updated the drawing, and now I'm at that stage when I really don't know what to do. I'm terrible with colours, I know very little about them and I have no clue how to paint, nor make a "finished" coloured map. Pretty happy with the map so far though!
