Default July/August Lite Entry: The Counties of England and Wales

I used a Victorian-age map as a base template for this map and basically had a bit of fun with a cog brush in photoshop Brush credit will be posted with the completed entry.

Didn't like the colour scheme so I changed it. Added borders.

That would definitely make for a stylish bit of wall art. Very nice, Vyxxen.

Yeah I was thinking this belongs on someone's wall. Nice out of the box thinking!

Clever! Now, if you had it animated so the gears meshed, turned, and served some purpose.... maybe to calculate the rise of British population, or wealth, or number of laboratories with aetheric power piped in, or miles of railway trackage within said counties... nice little readout dials or clicking digital readouts ... :-) Of course powered by a steam engine over at the side of the mechanized map. Now THAT would be cool.

    But this is pretty, as-is.

Yeah... not had time to work on finishing this map, jbgibson, never mind researching info and animating it
