Prince of Persia could have some fun here. Great stuff, man. My fave part is the strings of lamps. Was gonna rep ya but I gotta spread some around so remind me to hit ya up sometime.
I made this map from looking at the picture of Shadow Square on the official map that came with the Dark Sun boxed set.

If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

Thanks a lot guys I appreciate it. I tried to make the battle map big enough so that people could cut it up however they wished and get a few maps out of it.
Very nice, repped.
So what software did you use to create this map? Sketchup?

Wish I could create true 3D depictions of places in my world. The Player's handout is just great! Very immersive.

I've used sketchup to do a lot of stuff related to building my house. How in the world do you get the time to do all this? I like sketchup a lot, it is fantastic, but it seems like Tyr overall and the the detailed areas would take *forever* to do. Is there a trick to speeding up the process?
Also what about 3d models of fantasy er.. stuff, wells, tents, wagons, furniture etc... where do you get all your wonderful toys?
Not saying Vizier got his objects there, but there's Google's 3D warehouse:
