Interesting place names on that map. I'm kind of curious about the "Y" icon used for monasteries and placed on the top of the legend.

Great work, though the mass of mountains makes it a little cluttered in my opinion. It will be interesting to see the simplified version.

Cool map, I bet there is a lot of volcanic activity there.
It was specifically required to have that mountain density. I originally had less but was asked to fill them in more. That is why I dropped the mountains down to a shade of grey rather than full black as originally done. With them solid black you could barely make out the cities in the names.
The Y seems to be a religious icon for the mountain tribes.
