I like this new version. The border is really nice.

Are you going to add shadows to the mountains?

Also, are you going to soften the black lines at some point? They look a bit too crisp at the moment (although that might be the effect you are going for)

Yeah, I wanted the lines to be pretty dark and crisp, although there is a bit of disconnect between the coast, mountains, and border, because I didn't blur them all to the same degree.

I must say that I absolutely love the names in this map. The only issue I have is that you have these hellish names like Baphlagor and Malbolgia, and then you have these (still cool) English names like the Gibbering Plains and the Iron Desert. Even though the English names are interesting, they seem lackluster next to your more creative naming. Also, the description text is hard to read over the sigils behind them. I normally don't like brightly-colored icons on maps, but here, the icons are perfect. They really pop out at the reader, and when combined with your awesome I-don't-know-what-to-call-them circles around the cities, the icons are fantastic! *BONK*

Definitely my favorite map of this challenge. Colors, composition and labeling feed my tastes! I would though blurry the great infernal city icon wheel, it looks a bit too sharp regarding the other stuff on the map
