    Default Polar map reprojection

Hello , I did a world map in an equidistant projection , but when I port it to projection tool and adopt spherical ones I see how silly my arctic regions look , is there a way so that after I draw a decent shape for polar lands I can split it over the equidistant projection? So to apply on id and in a way that after I reproject again on a sphere will look good?

Hi. Not really, no simple way. It's easier to trace / have a look / re-trace / have a look. Just keep in mind a very important rule: in your rectangular projection, every pixel vertical-wise matters a lot and every horizontal trace will be reduced a lot, so just make your lines a lot more left-right than up-down.

Thanks , Perhaps I should use a tool like mudbox , drawing its shape on the sphere directly then reproject it on map.
