Hey y'all

Hello chaps, I'm Edelweiss (or Golgotha if you prefer). I've been lurking a little on this forum, made a few posts a little while a go and figured I'd follow up with an introduction!

So let's see:

I'm Anglo-Irish living outside London, England. I'm a freelance writer on the side, currently unemployed (but looking!) and I've been a bit of a cartography nut since I was little. I've always been fascinated with maps and I can clearly remember staying up for hours looking at my school atlas when I was in secondary.

I've got a few prized cartography possessions including a globe from (roughly) 1970, yay East Pakistan, Yugoslavia, British Jamaica and Rhodesia...

I do like to doodle maps in my spare time, nothing fancy...I once did a map of 1850 Europe which I was rather proud of, all traditional and that!

Any way I'm hoping to post now and again, see you all around.
