    This map is a commission for writer Duncan Hamilton Duncan M. Hamilton | AUTHOR, it's one of the main spots of his novels.

    Nice, very reminiscent of the city maps I've seen from that period. Yet very clear.

    I was wondering if you could guess how many buildings of the same type you use in a city generally? For example looking at it it looks like 5% warehouse stamp, 2% sideways warehouse stamp, 15% lowgarden house, 8% highgarden house...
    The reason I'm asking is because I was wondering how many individual stamps you make (not including the special buildings like castles and whatnot)? And I didn't think to ask that until I thought a little more about it. I was curious how many building types I would need to make to realistically convey a convincing city.

    Also if one is making a more top down perspective, is it better to just draw them all or use a stamp?

    @Falconius: I have no clue. Many elements were drawn individually, for others I used the clone stamp tool or a pattern.
