    Map New here, first map: "Les Provinces de l'Escrabes"

    Hi guys, sorry for my bad english.
    Here is a map i've done recently, i have a little photoshop knowledge but i'm very new to mapmaking, so feel free to make me improve, i'll be gladly thankfull !

    I hope the style isn't too cartoony for you, i'll try to be more realistic next time !

    That looks nice!
    It does have that slight cartoony look, I suppose, but is that bad? I love your border too

    Bah, that border is really crappy, err, crabby!

    Na, seriously, this looks fine and not at all "too" cartoony. If anything, you should improve the cartoonish look... the coastline does not completely fit that style, as does the font / font style you used for the oceans.


    A great job for your first posted map!

    I like it and I think the mountains give it a nice, interesting quality. I agree that maybe the coastline style doesn't really fit with the rest of it.

    Thanks a lot for your feedback ! I agree, either it's the coastline or the moutains, but I probably have to choose between more or less cartoony, it feel a little undecided here.
    Thx Corriliant for the welcome, I have been lurking enough and hopefully I'll try to draw another map soon, you all make me highly motivated !

    I adore the "Mer des Frissons." The name goes wonderfully with this map style.
