Side Scroll Map
I apologize for the previous 'post' thread rather than a 'poll' thread. Anyway:
The idea is to map an area or route in profile view (like a side-scroller), or map a landscape. The idea was inspired by such a scroll I saw on display at the Chicago Museum of Art that was over 40ft. long. I can't find that exact map, but here is another example:
