I too was worried about the time, but I have a few vacation days coming up that will now fit within the window. Want to team up, Sapiento?
No problem guys, since this challenge seems attracting to many guilders, it couldn't hurt to have some extra time I edited the thread and all titles threads of the entries.
Unless you have made a specific deal with your partner (e.g cession of rights, cession of copyright etc.) You're still the creator of the art and therefore the sole owner of it.

I'd consider participating, but I don't do very good outdoor maps. Tactical maps by moving around clip art and adding effects, sure... but I can't freehand draw a decent square at gunpoint.
In this case, any type of map you are commissioned for is fine. Just let it be known you want to do a tactical map of some kind and then hopefully someone will take you up on it. Alternatively, you can approach someone else who's work you appreciate and see if they would be interested in teaming up.
I hope you get someone because the more the merrier in these.

great that the deadline has moved, this is actually a life saver for me not to disappoint my client
I don't think to many of us would have finished by tomorrow if the deadline had remained the end of October.

I am not looking forward to voting on this given the number and quality of the entries so far. It is going to be really difficult to choose.
