The Ten Colonies of Yggdrasil
Hi folks!
Here's my last science-fiction map, and just for the pleasure of mapping for once (I may use it for a game though...).
I'm a big fan of Battlestar Galactica and chose to try to do a similar map than the "official" one of the series (I think). I replaced greek myths by the norses myths and I added the chinese five directions's symbols (a good original idea of Firefly).

That's really nice Ilanthar! I was actually thinking that it looked like the BSG/Firefly maps (though I haven't found a full resolution version I can read yet =/). Btw, where did you get the shapes for the chinese five symbols? Did you make them?

@Sharpes : I agree with you. My "verse" map is almost impossible to read, and the one of BSG is barely legible. For the chinese symbols, I wish I had made them completely, but I just reworked a bit some pictures found on the web.
