Thread: Photoshop Brushes?

    Default Photoshop Brushes?

I've been looking for some good Photoshop brushes for making a city but I've barely found anything! I'd like something that looks similar to City Designer 3's symbols in terms of buildings etc. I really wanna buy it but it's too expensive

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

aren't brushes per se, but you can make brushes out of them for your own purposes.

Brushes as such don't really exist as Photoshop brushes work in a completely different manner - no color, just grayscale. That grayscale is further complicated by the fact that lighter areas of the grayscale are more transparent, thus the background shows right through. There are some few brushes here and on DeviantArt but they are line art so you'd have to go back and color inside the lines while zoomed in a great deal. We all sort of want that "stamp it down and in an hour we have a bunch of buildings" tool but it doesn't exist for PS. The Clone Stamp tool is capable of a little bit but I've always found it tedious and tricky. So either you have to fork out the bucks or draw it up yourself or take what you can find and color it all in. Sorry to break it to you.
