Well, there is no way I will win this, based on the amazing stuff others have already posted, but I might as well post anyways, since I started.
This will be a board-game that uses dice, thus the "Roll" in the title. You start at the far right hand side of the map with 5 dice. At each circled spot, you will roll the dice up to three times, and then add whatever you rolled to your totals. Some rolls will also have bad results. In between the circles the player will have to roll again to move to the next spot and failure to roll the right numbers will lead to using up supplies and use up time. At the far left of the map, the kings castle is under siege, and the longer you take to get your army across the map to break the siege, the weaker the castle will get. Take too long and the bad guys storm the castle and you loose. But if you rush across the map to the castle without first stopping and rolling up troops and arms for them, you will most likely loose the big battle when you get there. Thats it in a nustshell. Loads of details yet to fill in.

Nice start, hope you can get something finished by the deadline!
The buildings are great

Of course the buildings are great; I poached them from last Septembers "Mapping Elements" challenge.
No way I could make anything that nice.

I won't say for the icons but for the other mapping elements (mountains and forests), you should at least credit properly the one who made them, according to the map licence (licence can be found in this thread)
I don't think there is any question that you should credit the icons! They are beautiful and Ramah deserves the mention for all the work he put in making them
Of course you are right and I apologize for that.
I give Full credit to Remah for the buiding icons and Max for the mountains hills and trees off the "finish it" challenge map. Amazing work.
In fact, I think the buildings are too good...I dont think I can make a map that is good enough for them. Somehow, they seem to be floating above the map right now, artistically speaking.
I think this is probably because you used some maps elements that are very different in their conception and style.
