An attempt to redo an old map

Here's an attempt for redoing my old Agartha map with a more modern style. Not sure If I like it... It's lacking rivers, cities and borders, but what do you think? Does it looks OK? Better or worse than the old one?

I like this a bunch! I wouldn't really compare the two maps to each other just because the styles are so different from one another.
It has a very minor "blurry" look to it but it doesn't take anything away from the map at all.
I am very interested to see how you add icons, rivers, cities, etc.
Definitely will be watching this one!

Yep, you're right. And in fact, I may use something more closer to the old one. This is probably too modern for my setting (I should have sorted out this before!).

I really like this map though I think it works best for a zoomed out continent view. When you zoom in the mountains lack the detail to work IMHO. Though I do like the feel of the northern area

Yeah, I agree with you. I'll probably go in another direction... and may try to use that style in other maps, with more details or a general view.
