Long time lover of maps, cart, surveys.
I usually hand draw all elements of my maps with various pencils, ink, watercolours...but can anyone tell me if there's a simple ipad program that's best suited for making maps ?
Id need to hand draw some parts, import and edit from images, all the basics so I can post decent images with you guys.

Hi chick, I'm more of a pencil sketcher, I'd rather do 100 different drawings than one full map but I think if I knew of an easy software program I would complete full naps.
Who does commissioned maps ? I'd like one of my home town.

Check out the mapmaking requests section, and consider putting in a request. I'd offer, as a fellow Aussie, but I don't have any time at the moment.

Those maps you shared are already very good. If you can't commission a map, there are plenty of people around here who can help encourage you.

There's always Photoshop with the new "Cloud" version that charges by the month, or GIMP which is almost as good and is free.

Post in the Mapmaking Requests forum and I'm sure you'll find a lot of interested people who could make a city map for you.
