This is just a recap in a single image.
All the individual elements are in the post above.
Thanks to all who advised me in my decision qualms. You have all been a great help.
So here we are - 6 final and definitive fractal map elements that I hoped to realize. One map board, 3 compasses, one decorative tiling and one cartouche.
I understood that I had to put them all in a single image so that it is taken by the thumb reader but before I do that, I will recapitulate here everything in a proper resolution so that it can be used by anybody who would wish to.
It would be a pity if a fractal had not the resolution that allows to zoom and appreciate the details

Great work D!

As I already had 3 compasses I finally decided to do a Great Mage Tower (Isengard style) and to replace the first compass by it.
Here are 2 versions - a large one and a small one. I will keep the small one for the challenge.

To visualize how it can be integrated in a landscape, I borrowed an image by Minionslayer on Deviant (credit to him for the landscape). Of course the perspective is not quite right but the purpose was just to have a very crude idea.
It gives that :

And while I was hunting for the map boarder, I caught this interesting creature that I liked. As it was obviously not a map element, I returned it to the fractal limbo and show it here only for the eye's pleasure :

I know that the delays are over.
But I happened today on a fractal that reminded me of the nice autumn forests by Chick.
So in hommage to the Chick's idea (I hope you don't mind) and outside of the challenge, here is a texture of an autumn forest with a river flowing through.
