    Thanks for the comment Troedel.
I don't think FF or Genetica are superior for 2D textures. In e.g. Genetica you can have separate channels (diffuse/height/normal/specular etc.) or a combined texture for 2D stuff. With SD you always get separate channels either traditional or PBR. So you just have to combine them to get the same result as in Genetica.
To be honest I didn't care much about lighting when creating the substance. As you can see in the picture I used different dark grayscales for light and shadows to avoid large differences. This can be refined of course.

And yes, SD is just awesome, I don't use Genetica any more

Ok, just to get you right, it is designed to be looked at in 2D? Taking for example th Albedo and blend it AO and other maps in PS? Thinking of it that´s how I should try it. Drawback is that they would not work as well in 3D? I made a dungeon floor texture and tried to get it out rendered on a plane. The post work to get it tiling again was to much for my timeframe, didn´t make a good job of it.
    Keep on

Ok, one piece is not enough, so I've decided to add some more: The evil temple Cthulhu worshipper ground tiles. Original symbols were found on the internet.
