    Map The Dark Eye B/W Maps for 'Seelenernte'

    Hey guys! =)

    I'm finally able to show some more maps I made a WHILE ago, even before the WIP on the castle here (I basically used the same technique, feel free to look at the link to see this). Well, I hope you like it, feel free to rate, rep or run away as -Max- would put it (IIRC) =)

    I also uploaded them with a bit more description here at my Deviantart-Account.

    Cheers, stay creative!
    Steffen =)

    I really like this fantasy floorplan style, it's neat and elegant.
    I'm just curious to know something more about the first map, if you don't mind. I Google translated the texts, and it seems it revolves around nightmares and other mind related stuff, but I didn't understand the overall scheme.

    I don't mind at all =) It's for a Pen-&-Paper-RPG called 'The Dark Eye / Das Schwarze Auge', kind of like D&D but in German. This is a nightmare the adventurers get into and try to figure things out and lastly try to escape by facing some fears. The four sections kind of describe the themes of the area. Alleinsein (loneliness), Schmerzen (pain), Entbehrung (deprivation/hardship) and Unbekanntes (the unknown) are basic human fears. The enemy controlling the dream is in the centre, the heart of the nightmare in the mansion (Herrenhaus). The single rooms depict the themes, so A5 is being alone in a foreign place, S6 is torture instruments, U2 is a mysterious monster living under the floor, etc.

    Hope this clears some questions =)

    Yes it does!
    It seems a really interesting and sofisticated rpg (or module for rpg).

    It's the most popular RPG in Germany (even more than D&D) and around for over 30 years. It has A LOT of background and is described very detailed. Sadly, it is very complex.

    Oh, I really like those. Reminds me of the days of yore when I still played DSA! Nostalgia, here I come.

    Nicely done Stephen, you've got a very distinctive style.
