    Wip Thanks for the help.

Draw a frame with the rectangular marquee tool. (Best on a new layer)
If you wanna fine-tune it go to: Select > Transform selection
Once you are satisfied go to: Select > Modify > Border and define the width of your border
Last step: Hit "Shift + F5" and now you have the choice of filling the border with all kinds of colors and patterns....

Now you have still a few days to work on your lovely map and you better put some effort in!
    Good luck!
I jumped in before I had read any of the tutorials, after this map is done, that will be the first thing ill do.

You definitely need to. I'll tell you... your line work is absolutely stunning. When you can master Photoshop or Gimp, you're gonna be dangerous.

Borders, borders let me see, my favorite border tutorial is by Arsheesh here. It was written for GIMP but is easy to go thru with Photoshop and if nothing else you will come away with a few good ideas based on variations of the methods taught.

Another thing you might try to add color to you image, since your mentioned it back a few posts ago, is create a copy of the visible layers or just the layer you want emphasised and set it to overlay, multiply, soft light or anything and adjust the opacity to give you some more pop. Sometimes you can find some really odd looks doing this but it's worth trying.

Love how this is coming together, and I have to second IndustryGothica's comment that your linework is fantastic. I'm green with envy!!

Thanks for all the compliments and help I really appreciate. I look at all the artwork everybody else is done and I'm amazed. Seeing what everybody else has accomplished really gives me something to strive for.

I get off work in 1hr then, I plan spend all day on this map, sad thing is I have over 80 hours in to this map but that's mainly due to my lack of knowledge.
