    Looking great! I like the way you've laid out that resources map.

    What I want to know is, what IS the Hexingtide?

    On the whole, the catch-all name for the setting. It's a riff off the word "Hex" - as in a curse - combined with the suffix -tide (e.g. Yuletide, eveningtide).

    Within the narrative, the Hexingtide refers to the last thirteen years unto the present moment, during which a magical calamity that's come to be simply called "the Hex" has ravaged the world.

    Gotcha. Kind of figured it was something like that; I just love that name - it's very evocative.

    Playing around with the natural resources map again tonight...

    Introduced a sub-pattern of terrain icons. I like it in theory, but will need to tighten up the approach. It also interacts with the topography layer pretty poorly in areas of mountains and heavy hills.

    Also, if anybody notices something off about the terrain/climate/biomes, let me know.

    (Granted, the labels themselves aren't a strict Koppen or any other system - really a synthesis to fit the space in the legend, minimize the amount of different types to have to find colors and icons for, and to fit in the "Cultivated Cropland" land type.)

    Personally, I'm not a big fan of that terrain icon pattern approach. To me, it's too distracting and over-busy. I feel like once you get the rest of your resource icons placed, that's going to give more than enough detail and depth.
