Looks really nice and clean.
Only two minor things. The ink seems to be too crisp for the old parchment background and there are couple of mountains with two peaks that are overly rounded.
But I wish I could do a map this good

Artistically, it's a great job, no doubt.. congrats on the piece!
My initial reaction though, is "oh, there's the maelstrom, there's the linear impassible ridge with exactly one pass, there's the dragon-something-something, there's the odd looking archipelago, there's the desert, the ice and the swamp..."
I think I'll start a thread on stereotypical fantasy maps and how non-imaginative they turn somewhere in the guild... I neither want to disrespect your art or hijack the thread. The art, as I said, is very good!!
Really nice map, I'd put some of the larger text on a nice curved arc, they seem harsh just angled. I think the levels and distinctions are quite good. The Merioth River should follow the river more.
Very nice map. I like the parchment texture a lot.
Pixie, I see what you're saying about stereotypical maps, but perhaps this is exactly what the client wanted? I suppose, ultimately, if the client is happy then it's a successful map. Also, I'd very much enjoy a thread about stereotypes and clichés!
EDIT: I just noticed you've created the thread. Ignore last comment.

Thank you, guys!
The setting was defined by the client.
As for the mountains - they are closely based on mountains from an old Mercator map.
