    Map Legends of Ha-Stee

This map was started for a challenge in June/July of 2014, and was revived as a work in progress here:

    http://www.cartographersguild.com/sh...ad.php?t=30634

There is another link in that thread to the actually archived challenge that lists the different limitations I set for the map (for those of you wondering why i made the building out of all circles )

The idea behind this building is that there is a set of ruins being investigated by an alternate world cartographer/archeologist? He is trying to make a connection between some odd markings on a sword to the ruins of a building. His idea is that the intersections of the whirls in the patterning on the sword matches the intersections of corridors in a particular path through the ruins. A tenuous link, but our archeologist stakes his reputation on it! :p

Anyway the map is below, as with all my maps there is a long list of things I will change if it is ever revisited, I really want to get rid of the gray (maybe make it a hatch?), redo the border again, do something with the mustachio'd pagodas, add some texturing, etc.

    Enjoy!

Oh yeah, I remember this one! Very trippy, very unusual. Nice work.

That's unlike anything I've ever seen. Definitely creative.
