I am looking to have someone create a set of maps for a fantasy world I'm working on. I've tried creating these maps myself, but have an unfortunately small amount of artistic skill.
The few maps I've created can be found at: http://forum.profantasy.com/comments...&page=1#Item_9
What I'm hoping to have done is a more detailed world map with mountains, forests, rivers, etc. This would include general labels for countries and major points of interest/capital cities, but not much more detail.
If that map works out well, I'd like to continue working with an individual to split up the countries and do more detailed maps with roads, trade routes, etc. This would also include smaller cities and landmarks in each country, and we would work out those details as we go.
Style
I really like the map style from the following image, though I'm not married to this exact style, so it would be up for discussion: http://www.profantasy.com/annual/201...51_Example.pdf
Quality & Size
This would be for a roleplaying book I eventually intend to publish, so I would want it to be professional quality maps that could be incorporated into a book (something like the size of a standard Dungeons and Dragons book, as an example).
The country maps would also be incorporated into this book, but I would want these to be high enough quality that they could be printed to larger sheets and assembled into a much larger world map.
Time Constraints
I'm still working on writing up details of a lot of the places (cities, mostly), and don't anticipate publishing this stuff soon, so there's not a current time constraint that I could name.
Copyright
I would like the copyright to all images to publish these in a fantasy campaign setting.
Commission
Commission for these maps is negotiable; I'm expecting to pay something for them, and even if I never publish them I will use them for personal gaming purposes, so I'm willing to discuss what would be appropriate for each map/set of maps as we go.
