Thank you Bogie, Thank you ChickPea, i'm glad you guys like it so far And no worries ChickPea, "No animals were harmed in the making of this map"

Here is an update on the first (entrance) floor... i found out it differs what is meant by it... i mean the floor above ground level It took quite a while to accomplish it, so i have to hurry a bit with the next floors to complete the whole thing, including the damp cellar itself, before the challenge ends...

Looks good. I really like how you're doing the stone texture on the stairs and walls. It looks great. Hope you have time to finish everything!

The justified paragraph could use some work, too much open word spacing. maybe turn hyphenation on to get better spacing, could open up the letters spacing (tracking) just a hair to also help, maybe even bump up the point size by 0.25 to help

I'd be tempted to increase the paragraph spacing a bit too.

It is coming along very nicely - I think the overall look is really well done.

Really excellent stone walls. I like them a lot. I also like the rest of it, but the stone walls are my favourite thing.

Thanks a lot for all the great feedback, i'll respond after uploading my final version... again five to twelve... oO sadly i couldn't finish it completely, the upper two floors had to be left to imagination. I had to prioritize the damp cellar

    Hope you enjoy it nonetheless...

    Cheers,
    AL

Thanks a lot for the closer look and the suggestions on the typography snodsy, much appreciated! Due to the rushing in the end, i hadn't enough time to take it into consideration, but since i'm going to finish the map after the challenge in another wip-thread, i'll give it a try

Thanks Meshon, glad you like the stone walls. I feel flattered to hear this from the master of cobblestones!

As you all can see, i tried out some new things. I drew (sometimes more, sometimes less) heavily on the gorgeous work of many guild members as a source of inspiration for this. Next to max's work, that i already mentioned above, Meshon's, Larb's and J.Edward's work clearly need to be mentioned here too

It looks great, the top floor counts. Everyone needs a big open room with a great view. Sometimes there's just not enough space on your game table for all the terrain and minis you have for your epic wargame. And if it's rainy outside you need a place to play hacky sack.
