Default [Warhammer] Political map of Reikland

Just finished my map of Reikland. It's for the RPG Warhammer Fantasy.

Good job gyldenstern! The only nitpick would be, that the color choice for the provinces/estates in the upper map make it a bit confusing. At first i thought the parts of the Grand-Principality Reikland are lakes The other Reikland provinces (except the red ones) are pretty hard to differentiate from the "neutral" provinces. Is the province in the top-left corner a province of Reikland? It's colored this way, but i can't find it on the map below. Also, take care, i have a hunch the river police might knock on your door Anyways, i really like what you've done here. Keep up the good work!

PS: "Kotzdam" and "Schwachhof" are just hillarious! Was that on purpose?

Warhammer has a long and proud history of bad jokes. I didnt make these up. Since I dont speak german some of them shoot over my head but I assure you there are lots of them on the map And yes, they are all on purpose. ( I understand Kotzdam, but have no idea what Schwachhof might refer to).

The weird rivers are canals. Otherwise I think theyre pretty accuarate. Anyhow, I had a reference map so Im not to blame!

Im working on the borders. If things go as planed theyll look a lot better.

    And thank!

Really nice map and easy to read. Couple comments, lots of white dots to look at when I blow up to full size, maybe a little transparency or slightly more off white?

On the key - the type for the countries -- I've found that giving the outer outline glow of the text looks better with a bigger spread - so the fade is softer and "melts" into the map better

The Legend and the Main Map, seem different styles. Maybe something instead of the parchment background that relates to the texture of the upper map.

Nice map, very clean and detailed. I agree with Snodsy about the style difference between the key and the map, though.

The dark muted colors seem apropos for a Warhammer map. Good job.

    Cheers
