Map An old hand-drawn road map

Here is my own road map of the Municipality of Poggibonsi, as I hand-drew it, back in 1986 when I was 15.

    Strade Comune Poggibonsi R.jpg

At that time I needed a handy and extremely detailed road map to explore the countryside with my friends, riding motorcycles and scooters.
Since there were no such maps, I bought a technical map of the municipality at 1:10000 scale and drew the upper map from scratch, referencing to the real map graticule.

My friends and I enjoyed the rest of the summer time, wandering in the country and using this map.

That is really cool Azure. I love the way you did it and the color choices.
And I love useful real world mapping. Glad you posted this.

Pretty good and clean. And, it make me think of my old paper maps, too .

Wow, this is awesome, and I love the story behind it too. It's a fantastic piece of work for a 15 year old.

I'm impressed that at 15 you had the wherewithal to create a detailed real life map such as this. Nice job!

    Thank you everybody!
I am very glad (and a little surprised) that you liked this very old map of mine!
I have been mumbling if posting it or not for a long time, since I found it currently a bit "ugly", but surely I don't realize completely that, in fact, I did a good job at that time for a teenager!
