The District of Astien

This is my first finished map and the first one I am posting on this site.
The District of Astien is the northern District of the continent Gamorria.

Hi Lincoln! That's a very nice job, especially for a first map! Have some rep

My only suggestion is that you don't need the waves lines on the rivers, they're usually used on the seacoasts.

I like the parchment background, and the little white hole ripped in the paper. It gives it a very realistic touch.

The mountains are good, and the lettering, shields, and the drawing of the cliff are also well-done. Next time you might try adding a few trees or a forest, but overall I think you've done a splendid job!

Thank you for your feedback.. I will go into my hobble and work on what you've talked about and see if I can get another map which is better.
As for the parchment, I used photoshop aha. I scanned in my map, used an overlay layer over the top of the parchment and Taa daa!

I agree with Chick: that is pretty good work. Mountains look really good and I especially like that cliff edge.
