Well, I do like it. Makes me think at the traveling "fellowship of the ring", somehow.
Highlands
Here is a small highlands map that started as an texture and shadowing expiriment. But it turned out to be better that I expected, so here you are, hope you like it.

I love the reddish tones of the mountains against the duller greens. It gives a lovely autumnal feel to it.
I love Ilanthar's comment about a Fellowship of the Ring vibe. I bet there's a Black Rider hiding just beyond the edge of the map!

Thanks for the comments and yes I get the same Fellowship of the Rings feeling. I couldn't actually tell it myself, but now that it's been mentioned, it's quite obvious.
