Default Eda/Priomh (a commission for a novel by Dan Gard)

These three maps (world, eastern section, and a detailed map of one region) were created for the author Dan Gard and his upcoming novel Equilibrium. Dan was a pleasure to work with, and I'm looking forward to seeing the novel published!

You can read about it here: http://danthescribe.tumblr.com
and the world map is posted here: http://danthescribe.tumblr.com/worldmapofeda

Lovely work Chick! Did you hand draw all those sea creatures? They're really quite good (I especially like those two sea serpents). Also, the subtle sea texture is beautiful. I find I'm rarely a fan of textures in hand drawn maps but this is definitely an exception.

EDIT: Apparently I'm all repped out.

    Cheers,

Thank you, Arsheesh! Yes, I drew the creatures and the boats, and if you know my background in drawing things, you'll know that took longer than the rest of the map I didn't invent them though ... Dan gave me scientific names of some that he wanted, and specific details about others (cross between a turtle and a sea serpent, for example), so it was a real challenge

The border runes are hand drawn too, from Dan's originals, not a font.

Thank you for trying to rep It means a lot to me (successful or not)
