Default January 2016 Challenge : The Last Crusade

I know nothing about pulps, but I do know Indiana Jones is very pulp-like. I decided to try my hand and mapping the movie "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". Not much done besides the background but I hope to get more filled in this weekend. Hmmm...I think I need to see the movie again!

Ah, cool idea. Also any excuse to watch the movie again is a plus.

I got a bit more work done on the background (the fun part). Now I really have to knuckle down and add in the details to the actual map part.

I had an idea that might be cool (ignore it if it isn't), what if the parts where he does visit, it's in color, and all the rest is more saturated, etc? Might be an idea But ignore it if it sucks!

Also, this is great and I love Indy, so loving this map

maybe...maybe. I have to add in the country borders and names and such. I will see how that all looks first.

Here is what I have done for today- added in more details to the background and some to the map. The map country borders need to be redone and I am not sure what else to put on it. All the background images have been given a washed-out look to conform to the idea of an old faded pulp cover.

Excellent idea and it looks great! The "travels on the map" were something I've always found very cool in the Indiana Jones movies.
