Please help with Autorealm?

so i just started autorealm and I really wanted to make a map with countries and stuff
I created what I want my landmasses to look like, but I don't know how to create countries! What do I do to create countries, color them differently, and then create more without messing up the shapes?\

EDIT: I use the fractale feature so it was harder than i thought...
