Longtime browser of the guild, I am happy to finally have an account and start taking part in the community.

I mainly create fantasy maps using Photoshop. World, regional, city/towns, and battle maps are all things I have dabbled and worked on.
Many of my techniques that I use have been developed from the advice and wisdom of the great people of this community.

Where do I start? What should a new user like me do to get his feet wet?

Hi BeefStick, welcome to the Guild! Best thing to do is dive right in and post a map. If you've got something you're currently working on, post it in the Regional or Town Mapping folders for critique, or if it's finished, post in Finished Maps.

Thanks ChickPea! I posted two maps last night and have already started getting feedback, which is great. I have already posted an updated version of one of the maps to boot. Can't wait to get more out there and hear what everyone has to say. Thank you for welcoming me. Glad to be here!
