I think that it looks great. Though it doesn't look as a finished map since it doesnt show any informations.

I really like the shape of this island, the coastlines are especially pleasingly intricate. How did you plan them originally, and with the rework how did you decide where to add extra details and islands?
    Very nice

At first i just made up a vauge shape. then i started researching how islands form and stuff like that. Eventually i came up with the idea that the mountain range on the island was once the eastern most side of an ancient super volcano which, when it exploded, separated the island from the mainland to the west. the coastline itself is based off of other real world countries like england, norway, new zealand, and some of the smaller volcanic islands around the globe while still being original designs. The first map i made was only loosely based off of these ideas. The second map is much more defined.

its supposed to be monochromatic is colour and in the information it conveys. the island is supposed to be covered is swamps and trees and fields and snow with an extencive history. but it only shows the ground instead because i created this map just to give me an idea of the geography.

Great work Mouldy. I like your style. Would love to see a scanned version

Oh and, I think what Max meant is that it does not look finished because you haven't added any labels

    Cheers,

I've yet to write the history of this island so it will be a while before a named version comes out
