    Hello, my name is Koen, and i'm from the Netherlands.
    I enjoy creating my own world, and just make simple maps, wich can get a ''little'' bit cluttered.
    I only do hand-drawn maps, and i am fine with how mine turn out.
    But as i stumbled across this forum for tips i'm starting to like how computer drawn maps look.
    I also Create stories, and i am making a new one, and i am creating an entire new planet, on wich all cultures and people from all times and on wich everything is possible.
    I am also a great Harry Potter fan and a fan of the works of Rick Riordan.
    This was supposed to be short and quick so i'm gonna sign of now.
    Good day Fine Ladies, Gentlemen, Wizards, Muggles, Satyrs, Centaurs, (Demi)gods, House Elfs and everything else.

    To get you started, there is a great tutorial in the sticky section of Tutorials, called

    From there, go to

    Once you have completed those two tutorials, you'll be well on your way!!

    Hand drawn maps are great, cause you get to "feel" the maps so to speak, and more genuine IMHO. Welcome to the guild, hope to see your work soon!
