Post Volk says hi: MapMaker Needed

Hello all! I'm a newcomer to the forum, so pardon if I don't know the ins and outs of this place. It's really confusing and disorienting at first.

Just a bit about me, I am a GM for various forum games on other forums. I dabble in simple map making and editing, war games, etc. It's pretty simple stuff, not like the projects I've seen here during my time skimming through in awe. I've tried map making in the past and... it didn't go well, to say the least. I hope I can learn and be a part of this seemingly awesome community

That being said, I do need some help from more adept map makers. A friend and I are developing an alt-universe Forum Game, where everything is custom made. Player created history, nations, cultures, peoples, races, etc etc. However, as you might guess, the biggest trouble we've had in developing the game so far is the map. We are terrible map makers to say the least. Our map making skills are essentially the ability to draw lines on a white background. We need someone (or some people) to help us develop the map. I didn't really know where to request a map so I figured I would put this in my introduction. We currently have a very rough draft of the map saved on google, and we can easily share it to people interested in helping us.

I do apologise if I'm breaking some rules asking for help in the intro section or whatever, but we just desperately need good a map maker.

Hi Volk, welcome the guild! Sounds like an interesting project. No strict rules broken here, but you'll have more success finding someone to help you with your project, if you post a thread in the Mapmaking Requests Subforum. Also make sure, you read the "readme thread" before, it'll give you even more chance .
    Cheers,

Hey Volk, and welcome to the Guild!

If you need a map done the easiest way is to state your cause in the "Requests" subforum. Here's a helpful link on how to best do that.

    Edit: Damn it, ninja'ed!
