Looks nice Thomas!
Thanks for your kind words guys. I was afraid to draw on paper at first. Drawing with a computer is way easier because you can erase whatever you want. I guess it's time to do more pencil work.
Looks nice Thomas!
My artist sister once told me that the day she threw away her eraser was the day she really started making art. sometimes the ability to erase hurts more than helps.
She eventually got another eraser, but when I followed her advice and started drawing my paper maps in ink, I really liked what happened Artist, Trust Thyself.
Gidde's just zis girl, you know?

Thank you both, Max and Gidde.
I'm trying to color the map, something simple and a bit rough. It'll be ready soon.
Thanks for making me laugh Thomrey ! Funny thing : it reminds me of the time I was a student delegate and was glad to see one of my teacher drawing humoristic sketches during class councils.
The map is very nice, with the same talent as in your Kanoba WIP. I would even say that the forests look better on this one, imho.
Smaller canopy ... On the Kanoba piece, I got tricked by the size of the forests. They're freaking huge ! I'll redo them with smaller bumps but it'll take time 'cause I also want to give the impression of the relief on which it's standing and I dunno yet ho to make it work with the style I choose. I might have a lead with one of the maps that's been published during last week. I gotta look into it.
Concerning the drawing during job hours ... well, I often let my pupils do it when it helps them concentrate so I do it too, especially during these boring times.
Nicely done. I see that the class council remain as exciting as at the time when I attended...
