Yea right, that's not fancy.Nothing fancy.
Hi,
Our group's game in the near future will take place in Korth, Eberron.
We would like to have a better looking, more detailed city map than the sketchy one published by WOTC. (Currently available map.).
We would like it in the style of this map. Nothing fancy.
The aim is to be able to print it on an A3 poster, in 300 DPI, that would be around 3508 pixels x 4961 pixels.
The artist will retain copyright of the map.
We would like the map to be ready by early next year, the latest.
Please email me in case you are interested : preparetomeetyourdoom<at>gmail.com
Thanks

Your 'not fancy' example has some of the most fancy ocean and territory work I've seen in city maps, let alone the small details make this one of the fancier city maps I've seen around here. If that's the style you're looking for, the price tag is likely to be in the 'not so fancy' for your wallet range, too.
Forgive me, I did not mean to degrade the linked map with my unlucky wording. What I was trying to provide in the description of the request is that we are looking for a simple representation of the city rather than something hand-drawn like eg. this one.
This level of detail would do perfectly. Our planned budget for this would be around 150€.
If you think that's not realistic, please let me know and we'll re-evaluate.
For that budget I could do the map in black and white/greyscale. But just give it some time. I'm hardly the ultima ratio of cartographers; I'm sureothers will be interested whose rates may be lower.
Sounds like a fun project! My maps aren't quite what you're looking for though. I hope you find someone who can do your project justice.
Shot you an email.
Thank you all for your advice and the artists who have contacted me. The commission has now been taken.
Did this map ever get made?
I know a bunch of Eberron fans who would probably love to see this map, if that was allowed.
